Who are the founders of Echo Valley Meats?

Dave Alwan is the founder of Echo Valley Meats shop. He is the third generation owner of a very old, family-owned shop, Alwan and Sons Meat Company. He wanted to open more traditional butcher shops and that is why he sold his shares of Alwan and Sons Meat Company in 1998 and opened Echo Valley Meats shop.

He wants to provide high-quality meat for his customers and also increase his online sales. He had already appeared on Shark Tank but did not get a deal and re-appeared on the show with some good changes in his pitch.

Kevin O’Leary gave an offer of $150k in exchange for 20% equity with the condition that he had to sell Wicked goods cupcakes on his website.

Robert Herjavec offers double $300k for an exchange rate of 35%equity. Kevin O’Leary countered Robert with $150k for 17.5% equity in return. Mark Cuban jumped into them and gave an offer of $150k for 25% equity in the mail order business with an option to buy into the retail business and wanted to know his answer immediately. Dale took the Cuban offer and made a deal.

What happened to Echo Valley Meats after Shark Tank?

After the Shark Tank show, the deal made with Mark on the show was a lucky charm of bonding. Once the show aired, Echo Valley Meats had $1 million in sales in just six days. After the show, Founder Dave Alwan was invited by various platforms for interviews and to market his products. Dave shared his success story in an interview.

Dave shared that Echo Valley Meats is the third business to be invited to the shark tank again in episode 612. Echo Valley Meats’ website was visited by 1.6 million people after their show’s appearance. Echo Valley Meats proved itself to be extraordinary as it came back in season 4 and was invited back to the shark tank in season 5.

During the pitch, the valuation holding on the show was $1,000,000. The valuation asked on the show was not accepted by any sharks, but Mark kept his view and offered a valuation of $600,000 which was accepted by Dave.

After a few years, In 2020, Dave made a few additions to his product line. He launched his cheese line and Yeti products along with the delivery of meat in their cooler box. Echo Valley Meats have variations in meat line which cost the most. Bone in half spiral ham costs $69.95, Beef Rib eye costs $89.95, Ranchers Choice costs $199.95, a pack of original sauce costs $29.95, and cheese garlic spread is sold for $59.95.Dave made his business and efforts grow greater over the years.
