Who is the founder of Cycloramic?

Bruno Francois is the founder of Cycloramic aka  Car360 App. Bruno holds his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Master’s degree in Computer Science.

Bruno bought a new model of Car 360, after many successful investments and partnerships. Bruno left his job in 2011 at the age of 40 to build something new by taking inspiration from other applications’ features.

Bruno came on the show in search of an investment of amount $90,000 for 5% equity in exchange.  With the help of an internal gyro and Vibration, it flips inside the phone. After the demonstration, Lori Greiner was first to give an offer of $200,000 for 10% equity.

Bruno requested other sharks for the offer, Lori said that she needed a quick response to which Mark Cuban jumped in and asked more about the vibration factor and its uses. After which, Daymond John gave an offer of $250,000 for 10% equity.

Kevin O’Leary said that it was Bruno’s choice how much equity he wanted to give up with an offer of $90,000 for 15% royalty in the application. Steve Tisch also jumped in the deal along with Lori and gave an offer of $250,000 for 10% equity in the company.

Mark Cuban also placed his offer of $ 1 million for 30% of the company. Daymond changed his offer to $300,000 for 10% equity, Kevin O’Leary also framed his number to $200,000 for 10% equity along with a condition that when he gets his investment amount back, he would give back 5% equity to Bruno. Lori and Steve also flexed their offer to $250,000 for 10% equity, with the same condition placed by Mr. Wonderful.

Bruno asked Mark to join Lori, Mark said that he didn’t have any issues and they got together. Steve was left alone so he asked Daymond and Kevin for a combination.

After which Bruno said that he would not share so much equity for a small amount of investment and gave a counteroffer to  Mark Cuban and Lori of $500,000 for 15% equity in exchange. Mark and Lori accepted the deal and Bruno went away with his Checks.

What happened to Cycloramic after Shark Tank?

After the show, Bruno said that he was overwhelmed with the outcome of getting two sharks with a deal which is what he wanted. Lori is a marketing queen and Mark brings technology to the table which made his Cycloramic much stronger.

After their appearance on the show, downloads of the application reached the boom – 8 million downloads. After the show, Bruno had also invented a selfie app which is the best addition to his previous application. Bruno kept adding his works to the business and features into the application and also, Lori and Mark were continuously adding important ingredients to the business.

As mentioned, after getting the peak in terms of downloads, Bruno created a selfie 360 which makes animated gifts of panoramic photos. Later, he went to Car360 which made his work easier as it creates interactive 360-degree photos for car sales sites.

In April 2018, at a conference, Bruno met Carvana’s CEO and sold his company to them for $ 22 million. During the time of airing, the app was to be sold for $.99 on the iPhone store. Along with the sales of $660,000 income generated was around $175,000 to which Bruno forecasted the sales up to $ 1 million by the end of the year.
