Who are the founders of GarmaGaurd?

Bianca and Pete Badawy are the founders of GarmaGuard. Bianca is a nurse, and Pete is an Army veteran as well as a cop. Both of them are frontline workers, so they had a simple policy- removing work clothes before entering the house. This was to protect their home and themselves from harmful germs and bacteria.

When they searched for a product that would render their used clothes bacteria-free, they did not find anything on the market. So, they found a business opportunity in the same way by solving the problem of many people across the globe. They also made sure that the product could be accepted by more and more people by making it organic and safe.

Did GarmaGuard get a deal on the Shark Tank?

Bianca and Pete enter the shark tank seeking an investment of $ 100,000 at an exchange rate of 10% equity in the business. They came to the show in a suit and then demonstrated their business model. The duo shared a few samples with the sharks and then, Mr. Wonderful commented about their demonstration as it was performed by an actor, Joe.

Blake said it could save money. He tried it on his shoes and it seemed effective. When the sharks asked about the sales, they shared that they had been in the market for more than one and a half years and had had sales of $476,000 before coming to the show. Bianca shared that they operate through an online portal only. After that, the real scene begins. Mark Cuban said they are good but they are still at the stage of learning and suggested building a strong marketing team and going out.
