various opportunities to showcase their talents and skills.
3BAGS is founded by Tushar Dave the 3rd year RTU Kota CSE student along with his friends.
Tushar started his journey in first year under the name of College Conexion and slowly pivoted on his idea and transformed College Conexion into 3 BAGS.
How did the 3BAGS journey started?
One of the major problems that one has to face in a 2-3 tier colleges is that student remains unaware of opportunities and events going around. This is majorly because of the environment in such colleges is substandard.
Tushar realized this problem during his freshman year. When he got to know that there is
not a single channel (other than WhatsApp where nonsense chats can cover the
important information) from where students can receive official information about what’s going on their campus.
After that many students joined Tushar and they became a strong team. Together they started with a mobile app (which is available on play store). The app was aimed at providing verified notices and enhance communication among the college community.
As well said, every first product is just a test. It happened with them too but still, they managed to have more than 700 + active users on their app within a few months!
As per the user’s feedback and situational needs, College Conexion underwent a lot of improvements to finally come up with the idea of 3 BAGS community. They have excluded many features and now focussed on creating awareness among the students.
Challenges and Opportunities as a Startup
In 2018, Team College Conexion participated in the competition of Rajasthan Government (RSSEP) and they got selected among the 100 students who visited Silicon Valley, USA for exploring the global startup ecosystem.
College Conexion was also among the few startups who got the opportunity to pitch their idea in front of startup accelerator Techcode in Silicon Valley.
Visit to Silicon Valley provided Tushar and his teammates with amazing exposure and also helped him to acknowledge the heights of unawareness among the students.
As they say, starting a company is a lonely journey and there are lots of challenges one has to face. Soon after the US trip, some team members left the startup. That was the moment of disappointment for every team member. One of the team member i.e. Lokesh motivated Tushar to not to lose hope.
How did the 3BAGS popup?
After this breakdown, Tushar was confused about what to do, where to start from but as it is said when you don’t know what to do, help people around you. That’s what Tushar and Lokesh decided to do. They started to work upon their college club called Techknights, which is a programming club of RTU, to help their fellow juniors. They started with nothing but their determination ended up with a powerful community of enthusiastic students who are dedicated and eager to work.
Few weeks before starting 3BAGS, about 7-8 students applied for Microsoft Student Partner from their club and out of which 5 students made their place. At that point, Tushar realized that students of 2-3 tier colleges do not lack behind in skills. Even they possess the potential to do big things in their lives and add feathers of success in their cap. It is just that they are unaware of the opportunities and the way to grab them.
This realization motivated Tushar to reimagine his dream of connecting college students.
Tushar along with Zeeshan Abbasi, Lokesh Kumar, Harshit Khandelwal, Tanmay Vijay, and Yash Songara decided to build a community where they can help such students to know about the opportunities. They also got immense support from their club members Vashishtha Gautam and Ishita Pabbi, who are helping the 3BAGS community to grow by being the most active team member.
3BAGS Mission
3BAGS firmly believe that opportunities should be available to everyone. It shouldn’t be the case that only students of elite institutes have access to opportunities. This is what constitutes their mission.
Mission #OpportunitiesForAll.
The community is entitled to 3 BAGS where each bag represents the various aspects of college life, which is campus, students & stories.
Currently, They have 200+ members from across 18 different colleges of India. 3 BAGS recently collaborated with Machine Learning India, a community with a mission to build an AI ecosystem in India.
3BAGS is looking forward to making their presence permanent in more than 50 campuses all across India with the help of the Agent of Awareness Program by the end of 2019.
Founder’s advice to budding college entrepreneurs:
Starting in college is boon in itself because it is a time when you have nothing to lose.
When we start, we are a bit afraid because we have no idea about how to start a
company but as we commence working, we tend to grow. Even in my case when I came
to college I didn’t even know about the word entrepreneur, but as the days passed our
work is speaking itself.
My advice is very simple. Don’t work to get results, work to work, results will follow you.
As a college student, if you want to remain aware of all the college competitions, events, internships, etc do connect 3BAGS, so that you never miss any opportunity!

Excellent blog! Do you have any recommendations for aspiring writers?
I’m hoping to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything.
Would you advise starting with a free platform like WordPress or go
for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m completely
confused .. Any recommendations? Thanks a lot!
Thanks, Garnet!
You can look for paid hosting plus WordPress option that would be great to make a start.
