The Vegan culture is all around us and isn’t it amazing to have a bar of Vegan chocolate instead of the old milk-based candies?
It might sound amazing but it isn’t because the substitutes that Vegan products contain harm animals equally if not more.
Anyway, everything boils down to just one question, how well does the chocolate taste, and LoveRaw is delicious if its financial numbers are taken into account? LoveRaw has effectively used leftists to promote capitalism, what more could we ask from them?

What is LoveRaw?
LoveRaw (officially LoveRaw LTD) is a vegan chocolate manufacturing company based in Altrincham and founded in 2013 with an investment of £600. It has a wide range of products in its catalogue with a special focus on the gifting segment.
The company aims to compete with chocolate manufacturing corporate giants to emerge as an everyday treat for everyone. The company has established a wide presence throughout the UK and Ireland and is available in retail chains like Tesco, Whole Foods, etc.
LoveRaw has very smartly played the Vegan card to sell its products to ideologically driven consumers and has also maintained its qualitative characteristics in a way that ensures that its product tastes like if not better than the average chocolate bar.
This type of brand placement has expanded its consumer base to a great extent. The company also used to manufacture Vegan food previously but it has now shifted its focus completely to Vegan chocolates.
Who are the Founders of LoveRaw?
Rimi Thapar flew from Spain to the UK in 2013 to start LoveRaw.
After acquiring all the necessary governmental permissions, she started manufacturing from the house of her in-laws and continued like that until the demand was enough to get the product to factories. Rimi’s husband Manav also flew in to help at the house manufacturing stage and has been there since then.
Rimi was an investment banker in the UK and Manav was a property dealer in Spain.
Rimi moved to Spain after their marriage and moved back to the UK to start LoveRaw as regulations in Spain won’t allow her to manufacture from the kitchen. The couple eventually moved to the UK to make something big out of their Vegan endeavor.
Did LoveRaw get a deal on Dragon’s Den?
Rimi offered the Dragons hand-made Vegan delicacies that were ‘Great Food First, Vegan Second’. Since the food tasted exactly like the alternatives available in the market, the Dragons did not buy the idea that it would sell.
Mind you, these were the same Dragons that rolled out the red carpet for War Paint, a male (read trans) makeup brand just because of ideological changes in the Anglophone world.
It indicated the fact that the Dragons were making a big mistake as the number of people who prefer a Vegan diet have been increasing all over the world and not just in the UK and the US. Deborah made a steep offer demanding a 30% stake in return for the full amount.
The 18-hour work days flashed before Rimi’s eyes and she refuted Deborah’s offer as she couldn’t part with a third of her company.
This decision might seem correct but we know for a fact that owning 70% of a lot is much better than owning 100% of a lot less.
Rimi missed an opportunity to make her business big instantly by refuting an offer by an ideologically charged Dragon.
What happened to LoveRaw after Dragon’s Den?
Rimi’s business benefited from the Dragon’s Den effect as was her objective behind going there in the first place. LoveRaw started to focus on just the chocolate segment where it had received a spectacular response.
The valuation of the company rose to £1.7 million in 2018 and it received a multi-million-pound investment from Blue Horizon Ventures in the January of 2020.
The company now wants to evolve as an everyday chocolate brand and compete with the chocolate manufacturing giants.
LoveRaw is available in more than 3200 departmental stores and retail chains across the UK and Ireland and has tie-ups with multiple supermarkets and retail chains throughout. LoveRaw products can also be ordered from the US through its website.
Below is a map depicting the region-wise distribution of LoveRaw stockists:

What is the Net Worth of LoveRaw?
Rimi valued her ‘Vegan but chocolate’ chocolate brand at £1 million but the Dragons as usual had other opinions. Deborah valued the company at just about £150,000, an offer that gave Rimi an emotional setback.
The net worth of LoveRaw rose rapidly after that to £1.7 million in 2017. Blue Horizon Venture invested in the company for an undisclosed amount but the fact that this was a multi-million-pound deal was established. The current net worth of LoveRaw can be estimated to be about £10 million if not more.
Is LoveRaw still in Business?
Yes, LoveRaw is very much in business as of 2023 and its sales are demonstrating a double-digit growth yearly.
LoveRaw proves that people generally want to do deeds that they think are good but only to the point that they don’t have to pay a premium for it. The song of capitalism sings itself around every monetary success at the end of the day.
A wife and a mom of three succeeded in her business endeavor successfully demonstrating the fact that only those people overcome challenges who face them and not crib about them.
