The company is founded and headed by Dallas Robinson and Mike Bounomo in 2010. The founders had met in high school and they came up with this product as they were about to finish high school they started this business. When they were in high school they started by hanging out on the beach and they wanted all the cute girls to kiss them. They soon found this to be difficult.
They soon knew that the aim of the products was to bring up the chemistry between the lovers and give a tingling sensation once used. They formulated some admirable flavors like Peach and Cream, Fire and ice (bestseller), Strawberry daiquiri and Pinacolada, and many more….
Kisstixx at Shark Tank:
The duo entered the shark tank with a familiar story but left with a bang. This episode was probably the most happening most memorable show where they finally struck a deal the thing happening about it was that two of the investors kissed each other for demonstration purposes which made both of them out on the deal(Kevin and Barbara).
Later the immigrant tycoon Robert wanted to make an offer but soon lost the chance as Mark Cuban caught the deal up for grabs and offered $200,000 for 40% equity in the company. They soon or later agreed to the deal and the duo was excited to work with him.
What Happened to Kisstixx After Shark Tank?
Right after their episode aired, Kisstixx had overwhelming orders that they could not fill. The new volume even crashed their website. The Duo sent out samples to distributors and ended up getting into a bunch of new deals in new stores.
Kisstixx is featured in food stores like Harmon, Kmart, and even Krogers. Since 2015 there has not been much activity on their social media sites. Few Kisstixx is still available on Amazon. Shortly after shark tank, they shifted the business view to other ventures.
After appearing on Shark Tank, KISSTIXX gained significant popularity and saw a spike in sales. However, the company faced challenges with production and distribution, leading to delays in fulfilling orders.
