Leslie Haywood went to Shark Tank seeking $50,000 for 25% equity. She said after her husband served the wrong piece of meat, she got the idea of this product. Robert Herjavek accepted the deal.

According to marketing experts, Grill Charms is not a suitable name for the product. They were also unhappy about the packaging.

After asking questions by Kevin O’Leary Leslie said she is already selling Grill Charms in 103 independent stores. Kevin further said that he liked the product but Leslie does not have a brand yet, people like the product and buy but the brand is not established yet. He offered her $50,000 for 50% equity.

Barbara Corcoran said she doesn’t want to invest and she is out. Daymond suggested that Robert Herjavek doesn’t know how to work with retailers. Daymond and Harrington decide to partner up for 50% equity and are not ready to negotiate.

O’Leary says that he will need 7% royalties and 20% equity in exchange for $50,000. Robert Herjavek offers her $50,000 for 25% equity, which is exactly what she wanted and they both end up finalizing the deal.
