Who are the founders of Dyno safe?
Rebecca Romanucci is the founder of DynoSafe, before this she also worked as a nurse and in many different positions in different places. DynoSafe commenced in Arizona in the year 2017. As soon as the buyer places the order through the DynoSafe app, the products are kept in a lock box with a suitable temperature and a code is generated and sent to the buyer.
The buyer can open the delivered box with the help of the code sent by the company. The safes only provide a secure method for clients to accept delivery.
Did Dynosafe get a deal on Shark Tank?
The couple Rebecca and Eric Romanucci appeared on Shark Tank season 12 episode 19 with Dynosafe and asked for $150,000 for 15% equity in the business. The valuation reached around a million. They presented their business idea to the sharks and told them about their past records. They told the sharks that the product was still in the prototype phase.
Daymond John was out and Mark Cuban followed suit because they were not interested in the business. Lori was very confused about the whole business idea and did not get a clear picture, so she went out too. Robert Herjavec offered to buy the patent for $150,000 in exchange for a 51% share. Kevin O’Leary presented his offer of $150,000 for 40% equity.
Robert brought his second offer to the table of $150,000 for 25%, a majority of seats on the board, and one seat to Mark Cuban. The founders accepted the second offer made by Robert and left with a deal.
What happened to Dyno safe after the shark tank show?
After the show, the deal made between Robert Herjavec and the founder of Dyno safe was never closed. Once the show aired, a huge audience wanted to use their product. But, due to their short survey to collect the data were not able to retain potential customers.
During the pitch, they came up with a valuation of $1 million which was brought down by the shark to $600k. Buying goods from Dyno Safe is not an easy task its time taking process even though it does not provide any assurance for the products.
