Who are the founders of Pet Paint?

Abe Geary is the founder and CEO of Pet Paint. From 1995 to 2000, he attended Moorpark College and graduated with a major in marketing. He learned entrepreneurship by working in Morton Karr’s new development department.

He is also the owner of a trade fair exhibit named Creative Displays. He wanted to create a product for his dog and other pet dogs that could be used to include them easily on occasions and festivals with the family, and that’s when he founded Pet Paint.

Did Pet Paint get a deal on the Shark Tank?

Pet Paint founder came to the shark tank seeking an investment of $200,000 in exchange for a 20% equity in the business. Abe Grey brought some dogs painted with pet paint and a bulldog painted as Mark Cuban’s basketball team marks. Abe shares that he had invested $240,000 in a business and has taken the taste of toxicity and irritation in his favor.

Still, the patent rights are not in his hands. Abe, in the first few months of his business, made sales of $70,000 and received some orders, all of which Abe is forecasting to touch $200,000 in sales by the forecast’s end. Barbara asked about the market and retail sales, after which she said it’s a holiday product, not a necessity, and went out. Kevin O’Leary gave an example of another brand and said it’s not a proprietary product and left it out. Abe shared he already had a $200,000 inventory and Lori Greiner targeted the same point and went out. Mark Cuban suggested he market his product through a social media platform and it came out.

Robert Herjavec also agreed with Mark’s point of online retail, to which Barbara Corcoran jumped in and gave an offer of $200,000 in exchange for him 60% of his business, with the addition that she wanted him to move aside and she’d handle the market. Robert Herjavec also goes out after hearing Barbara’s offer. Abe shared I wanted this deal, but, I don’t want to do it with a partner who is just trying to grab the equity and turned down the offer. No deal was made on the show and the pitch was closed.
