People’s Design Scooping Bowl Shark Tank Update

I have an interesting story or rather I would say an interesting story about a bowl. A simple bowl in your kitchen. The one that you use to wash, the other one which you use to mix, or another one that you use to strain your ingredients. I am not talking about an ordinary bowl from your kitchen but an All-in-One scooping bowl.

A multi-purpose mixing bowl, with an attached and detachable spatula that helps remove all the ingredients at once, it has an egg separator, It can wash and strain at the same time and separate various items easily. The All-in-one scooping bowl is made of plastic and given an odd shape with a plastic handle that serves multiple purposes. The product comes under and was presented by people’s design.

Founder Story:

Tyler People, a chef, and entrepreneur from Colorado is the founder of this design. The idea of this scooping bowl popped into his mind when he was working as a chef at Colorado’s historic Briarhurst Manor. It took him a lot of extra time to transfer the substances from one container to another which resulted in him leaving his job.

But his passion to feed people did not allow him to rest, he started working at the Springs Rescue Mission and there he developed the first Scooping Bowl to reduce his kitchen efforts. He did everything on his own and created the bowl.

Did Scooping Bowl get a deal on Shark Tank?

Tyler Peoples entered shark Tank seeking an investment of $75,000 for 25% of the company. He demonstrated how the mixing bowl is different from any other bowl, and in this presentation, the sharks were very impressed. Lori Greiner immediately made an offer of $75,000 for 33% of the company.

To this offer of Loris other sharks made it easy for Tyler and backed out from investing. Peoples countered Greiner and asked to make it 25% plus $1 royalty per bowl but Greiner refused and said that her offer was the final offer. Eventually, Tyler accepted Lori’s offer and cracked his deal for his Scooping Bowl.
