Stephen Fazio and Austin Hillam, are our inventors of a new fun toy called ZipString. The idea came into being when Stephen saw his Physics teacher using a benchtop string launcher to keep string afloat, it struck him why canāt I make it portable?
Both Stephen and Austin began their journey to create the prototype and uploaded their video on social media and they got 20 million views on an awesome day.
Stephen and Austin being students of BYU and Georgia Tech created this sensation during the college period in 2021.
ZipString is a handheld device that can be operated with a switch of a button and place a string in it which keeps it afloat in the air. The String can form various shapes like Corkscrews, Grooves, and Waves, and even play with balloons, and pens and can be more creative.

Did ZipString get a deal on shark tank?
Stephen and Austin walk in Black Body Guard Suit at the shark tank episode to pitch for their fun business of ZipString at $100,000 at a 10% equity stake. The duo went on to show their amazing display of ZipString with various wave patterns using the device at hand.

Robert reviews jointly with Kevin to propose a joint deal of $100,000 at 20%. Stephen and Austin counteroffer with 15% but the Sharks rejected it. Stephen and Austin seal the deal at $100,000 at 20% equity and stay in the loop.

The Shark Tank episode created a craze among users as the product was amazing. The pitch just around Christmas was a bonus to let kids enjoy the new toy in their kitty. The business has thrived with both Robert and Kevin invested in the business which is now rocking.
