Kressa Peterson is the founder of Shower Toga. She wanted to create a product that people could carry with them anywhere and use as their shower curtain. She has always been passionate about participating in outdoor activities, especially races, and knows how important it is for a person to shower right after the activity is over.
In July 2017, she delivered her product for the first time and has partnered up with many associations, such as The Shark Bite Half Marathon, The Mud Titan Run, and Savage Race. She needed a shark’s help and expertise to make her product grow and reach more people.

Peterson shared her need for investment and explained the whole business model and shared her story of how she reached one of the good platforms. Shower Toga was able to secure a deal with Mark Cuban on Shark Tank. The deal took off and they were able to grow their business as planned. In 2020, during the pandemic, Shower Toga sold its product to frontline workers at half price. During the pitch, they came up with a valuation of $242,424.24, which was later updated to $200,000 by Mark Cuban.
It was done so that people could shower fast as soon as they came home from work and clean themselves before entering. On the company’s official website, people can order a single Shower Toga for $39.95, Shower Toga and Shower to-go combo for $49.95, a Shower to-go for $21.95, Shower Toga Plus (for plus size) for $43 and their new Inclusive Shower Toga and Shower to-go combo for $54.95. Before the show, they made sales of $80,000, and currently, they are doing thrice that. Shower Toga costs $2.85 to make and is wholesale for $16 and retails for $35 on the market.
Shower Toga still hasn’t changed its name and has successfully made it a brand. As of August 2022, they are generating a revenue of $2.5 to $5 million.
