BrellaBox was a company that rented umbrellas in the city. Does it ever happen to you, that you forget to keep your umbrellas with you on a stormy day, and it suddenly starts pouring down? This company BrellaBox found a solution for this.
BrellaBox aimed to install the machines in different locations of the city, schools, and colleges for city people. One could rent umbrellas from these machines, each for $1.50 for 12 hours. The one needed to return the umbrella after their use to the nearest machine itself.
An application too was created that gave reminders to people to return umbrellas. If one failed to return the umbrella one would be charged $40 for it. The idea behind this was to stop the purchase of low-cost umbrellas from street vendors that were just thrown away after damage.
