What is RollinGreens?

RollinGreens is a company that produces plant-based frozen food products, including tater tots, cauliflower wings, and burgers. The company appeared on Shark Tank in 2019 and secured a $1 million investment from John Foraker and Alex Rodriguez, in exchange for a 25% equity stake in the business.

Founder Story:

Ryan and Lindsey Cunningham are the founders of RollinGreens. It all started with an organic food truck. The story takes us back to 1980, an original Boulder, Colorado organic food truck. Ryan’s parents served the streets of Boulder. Seeing this, Ryan turned himself into a trained chef. In 2011, he and his wife started to serve organic food.

They served Millet tots and some other plant-based creations. They became the demanding staple of the Farmer’s market and in 2016 they launched their famous tots at local and national retailers. And soon their business was spread to more than 4,000 stores. Today the duo has started door services.

Did RollinGreens get a deal on Shark Tank?

Yes, RollinGreens did get a deal on Shark Tank with Robert Herjavec. In May 2020, RollinGreens appeared on the show. It sought $500,000 for 10% of the company serving the sharks their tater tots and other products. The sharks found them delicious but maybe the taste wasn’t enough for all the sharks to invest.

They felt that the structure of the business wasn’t strong enough. But it was Robert Herjavec who believed in the mission and offered $500,000 for 20% of the company. They accepted the offer and Shaked hands with Robert.
