The founders of the company Lakesha Brown-Renfro, Nzinga Teule-Hekima, and Tanecia Willis, eventually got the idea of their preserve jars which they associate as the party in a jar’ from their already existing event management business Simply Panache.
They made a business out of their first in-demand food product at their events. These three friends grabbed the opportunity and expanded their business and now have their products in stores in Virginia and online too. They started the business with their event business, initially, it took $1000 to make and produce the preserves that filled about 300 jars.

No, the Mango Mango couldn’t secure a deal on Shark Tank. The owners pitched their business seeking $75,000 for a 20% stake in the company. While one of the sharks, Kevin already had an experience in the Jelly company was not happy with the margins and so denied to not invest in the company.

Robert liked the product but couldn’t see himself making the right decisions and, Lori who usually never preferred mangoes, found the products very delicious, but was quite firm about the fact that the company doesn’t need any sharks but could fund itself from the revenue itself.
